Getting Greener in Maryland
What's it all about? In 2007, a group of Catonsville residents joined together to do a clean energy purchase. Working with Clean Currents, the residents were able to switch to 100% or 50% wind power and lock in a fixed electric rate for one or two years. The excitement was so great, that instead of getting the 100 homes they expected, the group got more than 300 homes! Now, the group is coming back together, but this time our aim is 500 homes.
Now the Clean Currents prices are below the BGE and Pepco rates! And there's an added incentive. For every customer that signs up before May 30th, Clean Currents will donate $15 to the Catonsville Arboretum Initiative, a project to plant trees in the Catonsville area. You don't have to live in Catonsville to do this. It's open to anyone in the BGE or PEPCO territory. So you can switch to clean energy, save money, and help plant trees in Maryland.

1. Choose the percent of green and the term you want.
2. Fill out your information.
3. Don't forget to put "Live a Little Greener" in the "How did you hear about us?" field. That's how we know you're in the group!
4. Read the terms and conditions.
