Green Energy Company Announces Green-e Energy Certified Local and National Wind Products Now Available in Maryland & Washington, DC

(Rockville, MD – Sept. 7, 2011) – Clean Currents announced today that it is relaunching its residential electricity service with a suite of Green-e Energy certified local and national wind power available to consumers in Maryland and Washington, DC.  The move makes Clean Currents the only company in the Mid-Atlantic to exclusively offer Green-e Energy certified energy products.  Its newest offering, Neighborhood Wind™, provides consumers with locally produced wind electricity, with the assurance of being fully certified by an independent third party.  The relaunch is a result of Clean Currents’ transition to a full service electricity supplier.

“We now have the tools to offer our customers a wider range of green energy options, which further differentiates us from the rest of the electricity market,” said Clean Currents President and Co-Founder Gary Skulnik.  “Consumers can now come to us for the highest quality green energy for their home or business.”
