We are excited to welcome Monique Hartl to the Clean Currents team as our new Marketing Director! Monique has spent the past 13 years working to engage individuals with purpose-driven brands and movements. She is motivated by helping people make more conscious lifestyle choices and lead healthier lives.
Monique has passionately contributed through online marketing and communications, as well as educational and promotional content development for both start-up and established companies including Windowfarms, Recyclebank, National Geographic Green Guide, LIME media and Oxygen television.
Prior to entering the green space, Monique received her Masters Degree in Global Marketing Communications and Advertising from Emerson College. She also held various marketing positions at the Walt Disney Internet Group working on brands including ESPN.com and ABCNEWS.com, and at Oxygen Television Media managing co-promotional partnerships with national and regional cable affiliates.
Monique is also a graduate of Just Food’s Farm School NYC, a pilot certificate program focusing on urban agriculture and food justice, and dreams about every city rooftop and vacant lot growing food to nourish residents, and cooperative businesses that really meet a triple bottom line.
